Is GeoR free to use? ▾
Yes. GeoR is 100% free. Draw as much as you want with no account required — although creating a profile unlocks points, badges, and territory features.
How do I claim a territory? ▾
Draw continuously in an area for long enough and it becomes associated with your name in the territory system. Others can challenge it by drawing over it.
Can I undo someone else's art? ▾
Yes — that's part of the battle! Use the eraser tool. But be warned: other users can erase your work too. That's the nature of GeoR.
Is there moderation? ▾
Yes. Our moderation system uses AI + community reports to detect and remove hate speech, NSFW content, and spam. Report abuse via this form or email us directly.
Will GeoR have a mobile app? ▾
The website is fully touch-optimized. A dedicated iOS/Android app is planned for Q3 2025. Join our Discord to get early access.
How is real-time sync handled? ▾
Production GeoR uses WebSockets (Socket.io) to broadcast pixel updates to all connected clients instantly. The current demo simulates this client-side.
